ABSTRACT
Bilateral coronoidectomy, combined with botulinum toxin injections and physiotherapy, is an effective strategy for managing refractory myofascial pain syndrome associated with masticatory muscle hypertrophy and coronoid hyperplasia. Early imaging and multidisciplinary care are essential to break the cycle of chronic pain and functional limitation.
